Just as rumble strips
were created
to warn us
when we start to veer
off the highway,
our intuitions
were created
to warn us
when we start to veer
off our soul’s true path.
Listen to yours.
Heed its warning.
Its noise
may be loud,
the course correction
it asks of you
may be inconvenient,
but it’s there
to prevent you from
a crash.
